This is NOT a dance class, but an new and exciting exercise technique utilizing and blending Tribal Belly Dance body movement and Qi Gong breathing exercises. Awaken and reclaim your self, your health & vitality through the blending of these two ancient forms.
By experiencing unfamiliar movements the long held toxic emotions hidden in your muscles release. It’s many circular motions activate meridians, chakras or energy centers within the body. It activates both sides of the brain so energy can flow freely around the body.
Learn to focus on your body and remove the clutter from your mind so you can dance with spirit. The motions of Life-Force belly dance quiets the chaos and draining emotions, leaving room for joy and self– healing. Can be danced alone as a mediation or in groups as a celebration.
Life-Force Belly Dance teaches the dancer to “see” with their feet and the “feel” their connection to the Earth. Grounding and the anchoring of self within the body transforms the dancer into a stronger, more confident person. Dancers become free of society images and judgements while dancing.
As an Martial Arts Master of 40+ years and as a Tribal Belly Dancer I have seen over the years the life changing experiences both activities have given to practitioners. The freedom to express ones self through body movement and sound builds well-being of the spirit. In this time of chaos it is time to share this experience with others to help them feel the connections within themselves and with the Universe.
